Recently, our office went under a brand new open workspace renovation, and as a part of that, the Graphics team was given the opportunity to do custom artwork that marketed the Office of Communications, its services and its 2015 accomplishments. Each of my graphic artists were assigned an overarching topic – my topic was the creative process. The City of Orlando's Office of Communications & Neighborhood Relations and the Downtown Development Board recently received four awards at the 2015 3CMA Savvy Awards. The Savvy Awards competition recognizes outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-engagement relationships. iLead wins NUSA award

The City of Orlando’s iLead: Your Interactive Neighborhood Training Source program recently won first place at the 40th annual Neighborhoods USA national conference in the Best Neighborhood Program Award – Social Revitalization Category. This national award recognizes outstanding programs by a governmental entity, business or corporation that help build stronger communities. City of Orlando awarded Silver Circle Award

Bret Thomas, a graphic artist in the Office of Communications & Neighborhood Relations and the Green Works Orlando team recently received the Silver Circle Award at the 2014 Savvy Awards. The group was recognized for the graphic design of Mayor Dyer’s 2013 Green Works Orlando Community Action Plan among cities with populations over 85,000.
