After many months of planning, strategizing, designing (and re-designing) marketing collateral, the City’s new innovative tree program One Person, One Tree officially launched November 13.
This initiative is part of the City’s continued effort to be one of the most sustainable cities in America. This innovative program is another way the City is transforming the urban environment by providing residents with the tools necessary to conserve, preserve and reuse valuable resources, ensuring a more livable Orlando for future generations to come.
As part of the team involved with this project from the start, I tagged along to help with event coverage, plant a few trees and support my Green Works colleagues, City Commissioners and Mayor Dyer. There is something very rewarding about seeing an initiative of this scope officially launch!
