The City of Orlando’s Office of Communications & Neighborhood Relations and the Downtown Development Board recently received four awards at the 2015 3CMA Savvy Awards. The Savvy Awards competition recognizes outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-engagement relationships. The awards salute skilled and effective city, county, agency or district professionals who have creatively planned and carried out successful innovations in communications and marketing.

Judges comments: Very clever campaign. Great use of humor to incorporate hockey into the downtown promotion. What a clever way to connect Downtown Orlando with the hockey team. Judges chuckled many times throughout the videos. The videos were short and engaging. The creativity and humor were great!

Easy to digest infographics, superb photography and catchy writing lead to a report that is sure to gain the attention of those looking at Orlando as a future place to live, work or play.
