Each Spring, the Mayor delivers his annual State of the City address. This year’s speech reflected on the City’s recent accomplishments in economic growth, public safety, transportation, sustainability, quality of life and ending homelessness. Mayor Dyer also made several announcements on the City’s priorities to keep Orlando moving ahead for generations to come.
The design of the invitation for this event correlated with the interactive book that was created to highlight the City’s accomplishments and goal for the next year. The design was also worked into the Mayor’s Key Priority web pages on cityoforlando.net. Each key priority area was assigned a color; the color palette was a range of hues in between the two primary colors used on cityoforlando.net (navy and lime green). The fountain watermark depicts the City of Orlando’s most popular and recognizable landmark, the Lake Eola Centennial Fountain. This invitation was used to promote the event online, on social media and through email.
