Another intern special!
Daniel, our Summer intern, just finished worked on an event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act. He did a great job, from start to finish, with the branding of the event and invoking the historical significance of July 2, 1964. The project began with the request for a “logo” for the 50th anniversary event. After some initial designs and discussions, we used Daniel’s seal as the watermark in the flyer, it also served as the design for the buttons and pins for the event. For the event flyer, Daniel took historic photographs, did a Live Trace in Illustrator, and then simplified the drawings for a retro look.
His completed pieces included an event flyer, event signage, 50th anniversary buttons and handheld paper fans. His logo was even printed on umbrellas!
